Who are we?
Women Innovating Together (WITfm) is a volunteer-run 501(c)3 nonprofit that provides visibility, community, and resources for women working with Claris products (and integration with other applications), including but not limited to FileMaker.
We’re comprised of women, and advocates for women around the world, who work in various roles including developers, analysts, entrepreneurs, project managers, consultants, administrators, support services, trainers, and many more!
What do we do?
Our mission is to advance women who are interested in learning and working with Claris software. We want to help women turn their potential into accomplishment.
We support women working with the Claris FileMaker platform, by providing opportunities to learn, grow, and connect.
We provide networking opportunities, scholarships for the annual Claris developer conference (or other trainings), mentorship, and leadership opportunities.
Who is WITfm for?
WITfm is for women who work with (or want to work with) the FileMaker platform.
They could be:
- New graduates looking for an exciting career with more autonomy and creativity than exists at a typical big-tech job.
- Mid-career professionals dreaming of making a more meaningful impact, or of being more involved in creating solutions that improve people’s experience of work.
- Anyone who prefers working for themselves and/or having flexible or part-time hours, such as actors, musicians, and moms with small children.
Why is WITfm here?
We’re here because women are under-represented in the technology sector, and we want to show them what an awesome job it can be!
What does WITfm value most?
We want to make a difference in our members’ careers—and lives—by helping them be the best they can be. And we want to reach as many potential members as we can to increase our positive impact.
What makes WITfm different?
We’re an extension of the friendly FileMaker community, where helping each other is the norm. In relation to the tech field at large, we’re small, but mighty! We like being hands-on and getting to know each other.
